Small aquaria can be planted up beautifully, too. The rare red dwarf hygrophila provides the red accent in this composition. It should be the centre piece in the design and is best placed at about ¹/₃rd of the length of the tank. This set also contains fast growing species to prevent algae growth right from the start. The Java moss will form a lovely soft cushion on wood or rock.

Planting tip:

Stem plants do not have roots at the time of delivery. Pull them into the substrate about 5-6 cm.The moss is delivered bunched, in a small tub or tied to mesh. It is best tied to wood or rock using some black cotton. Tie the cotton around several times. Do not worry about damaging the moss - it will soon start to grow, requiring regular trimming.

2 pcs Water Hedge (Alternanthera reineckii), 2 pcs Compact Hygrophila (Hygrophila corymbosa "Compact"), 2 pcs Pearl Weed, Bog Moss or similar (Hemianthus micranthemoides, Mayaca...), 4 pcs Red Dwarf Hygrophila (Hygrophila spec. "Araguaia"), 1 pcs Dwarf Hygrophila (H. polysperma), 2 pcs Twisted Vallis (Vallisneria spiralis), 2 portions (tubs, bunches or mesh) moss.

Sets make processing orders easier for us as we can choose from regular species which are readily available. We also reserve the right to substitute with similar or higher value species in the unlikely case that a regular species is not available. You benefit from this by saving 10% of the price as compared to buying the plants individually.
