Extraplant Shop

Fast growing plants take up lots of excess nutrients and keep the water clean and healthy. The hair grass will require some care when planting. It is however a good grower and will soon form a nice grassy carpet in the foreground. This set also contains the red form of dwarf hygrophila for a lovely red splash.

Planting tip:

Remove weights and padding completely. Stem plants do not have roots at the time of delivery. Pull them into the substrate about 5-6 cm. Unwrap the hair grass and separate from the padding carefully. Spread on smooth surface and separate individual plantlets. Pull into the substrate using finely pointed forceps. You can plant to about ¹/₃rd of the plantlets' total length: New growth will soon appear at the surface.

1 pcs Giant Stricta (Hygrophila corymbosa), 2 pcs Dwarf bacopa (Bacopa monnieri), 3 pcs Hydrilla (Hydrilla verticillata), 2 pcs Dwarf Hygrophila (Hygrophila polysperma "Sunset"), 2 pcs Dwarf Hair Grass (Eleocharis parvula)

 

Sets make processing orders easier for us as we can choose from regular species which are readily available. We also reserve the right to substitute with similar or higher value species in the unlikely case that a regular species is not available. You benefit from this by saving 10% of the price as compared to buying the plants individually.
