Echinodorus x barthii

Interesting specimen plant for the foreground. Its red leaves are rolled in from the sides in a unique way. This plant has become replaced more and more by newer hybrid cultivars in recent years. This is a shame as this plant is a valuable choice for a small accent in the fore- to midground. The Name barthii was chosen to honour Hans Barth, founder of the aquarium plant nursery in Dessau.
