Very valuable cultivar. The white veins are caused by a virus, but remain stable and clearly visible in the aquarium. Grows considerably slower than the species and is hence easier on maintenance. Growth is nevertheless stable and easy.

There is a true variegated form of Hygrophila difformis. We are trying to procure some stock for propagation but currently, this plant seems to be lost, unfortunately.
