This cold water plant prefers hard water without addition of CO2. Very interesting plant for Goldfish tanks but wil only survive in ponds if winters are mild. Contrary to popular belief, this plant is not restricted to water under 20°C but will grow in temperatures up to 24°C. Then, however, under strong lighting.
